The Empath

She was

such

a romantic

who wore

empathy

on her sleeve

everyone

she met

would

profoundly

touch

her

soul

as she

traced

the essence

of their

being

she knew

how much

they suffered

and this

hurt her

so

ouch

she could feel

so deeply

that at times

she thought

her little

fragile

heart

would explode

all those

emotions

overwhelming

some days

she

hid

somewhere

between the

painfulness

and

sorrow

there

she would

wait

for the

moment to

pass

so she

can

breath again

then

she rise

up

hug a

tree

talk to

the wind

sing with

the birds

and seek

out rainbows

the colours

between

the

black

and

white

she was

such an idealistic

in a plastic

world

of make

believe

would she

survive

the

underworld

would she

ever see

beauty

as her life

unfolds

she was

a romantic

who wore

her

heart

on her sleeve.
